Of Tea and Tacos

3 Cups of Tea Consumed

1 Apple Eaten

Today was the Vampire Tea Party with Michelle. And I made some new friends!

The tea party organizer, Bridgette, was really nice. I got a really good picture of her while she was doing a poetry reading.

Image is of a woman in Victoriana inspired attire, reading from a book of poetry. Another woman is holding a teacup and turned towards the first woman.

I had a lot of fun and the venue was amazing.

I even wore makeup and a fancy dress for the event.

The tea was held by the local vampire coven. And so made new friends by the name of Cyan and Alex. Cyan was previously a scare actress at Howl-O-Scream like I was and her husband Alex is in food. They’re both active in the local vampire coven, which I didn’t even know existed.

I had a blast. And then I went home, decontaminated, and worked more on Sparrow’s Seaside Blanket. Spock decided he needed to help.

I’ve gotten pretty far on the blanket so far. I’ve got about ten rows left, counting the border. I’m hoping to finish it by next week or so, so that I can give it to Sparrow.

We had meatless tacos for dinner tonight. Fen and I had a bag of Morningstar Farms veggie griller crumbles and a pack of hot and spicy taco seasoning. Add a can of refried beans, some cheese, some salsa, and some low carb wraps and voila! Awesome dinner.

Anyway, it’s almost midnight. I should go to bed.

Take your meds, folks.
