What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?

In all honesty, the thing I’m most scared to do is live alone. Being by myself with nothing but my own company is something I haven’t experienced since 1987 with little exception.

And the way to get me to do it would be money. I can’t afford to live on my own in this economy.

If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?

My poor baby Spock, if I could make him understand one thing, it would be that the daily shots are to help him not hurt him. He’s diabetic. I think he knows because he waits for the injection as he’s eating.

And I don’t worry that he somehow doesn’t know that I love him. I’ve had him fourteen years. He knows he’s loved. He knows he’s his Mama’s lovebug.

My eye doctor is a very strange woman. In our appointment, she told me how her first grandson, born a month ago, is named for Doc Holiday, told me I have a “cute freckle” in both eyes, complimented my “pretty retinas”, and congratulated me on getting me eye pressure lower.
