What are you most worried about for the future?

Survival. The death of our country at the hands of a piss-poor business man who wants to destroy basic human decency for fun.

Have you ever had surgery? What for?

Only dental extractions. That’s it. I’ve got all my original parts still. No cybernetic, artificial, or otherwise not self-grown bits in me.

Nothing wrong with it, but I’m leery of surgery because I’m fat and afraid that medical professionals’ blatant fatphobia may kill me if they ever try to operate on me.

Are there things you try to practice daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle?

Look, I’ll be honest: I’m struggling to survive in this capitalist hellscape. I’m going to keep living as best I’m able and that’s about it right now.

What’s the most delicious thing you’ve ever eaten?

I don’t know. Genuinely, so many of my memories are tinged with sorrow.

But I’d have to say, when I do enjoy food with positive memories, peanut butter mochi is among them.

How do you practice self-care?

I practice self care by taking my meds, sleeping, and crocheting.

How do you waste the most time every day?

I’m not quite sure how to answer this. I could say social media, but 98% of my friends live far away so that’s how I keep up with them.

I could say crocheting, I suppose. But I don’t think it’s a waste of time as it’s a relaxing, fun, and creative outlet for me. Same with playing video games or writing.

I guess the day job is the answer. I love what I do, but I’d rather be writing or crafting.

Which food, when you eat it, instantly transports you to childhood?

Hot cocoa, with the little dehydrated marshmallows on it instantly brings me back to my childhood.

Write about your first crush.

Hmmm. First crush I can remember is Timothy Gibbons in first grade. If we’re talking celebrity crush type things, Alan Rickman as Col. Brandon in Sense and Sensibility and Angelina Jolie as the Tomb Raider.

My creativity.

How do you want to retire?

I don’t actually know if my generation is going to get to retire.

But if I had the chance, it would be tiny house and selling crafted items online and in craft fairs.

What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?

My pentacle is on a chain handed down from my grandmother to my mother to me. I wear it pretty much every day unless I have to pass as a normal person.
