Who would you like to talk to soon?
I want to talk to my brother, Mal. I’ll be seeing him late next month. He’s crap at returning phone calls, but that’s a known issue. Maybe I’ll try texting him Sunday.

Continue reading “Of Radiant Orchid and Relaxation”You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?
If I’m traveling cross country, my personal preference is train. I know it takes longer, but I enjoy the journey just as much as the destination.
Who is the most confident person you know?
Well, when I’m in a manic episode, I am the most confident person I know. As to another person? Probably my partner, Mac.

If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be, and why?
If I wasn’t limited to being human, I’d want to be my cat, Spock. Loved, given all the pets, get to sleep like 20 hours of the day, and snuggles on a heated blanket at night? Yeah.

What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?
What an odd prompt. Probably something to do with my health as my anemia and vitamin deficiencies have been kicking my ass.
What bores you?
Stagnation.
Share one of the best gifts you’ve ever received.
The friendship of my chosen family members.
How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?
I have lived through four decades now, which is about twenty two more than I thought I’d get when I first attempted suicide. My perspective on life is colored by my experiences; I am working to be happy and survive the current hellscape.
I have been cursed to live in interesting times.
