6 Oreos Eaten
1 Bowl of Tater To Nachos Eaten for Dinner
I hate not having bookshelves. Hate, hate, hate it. I’m still living out of boxes and bags and it is grating on my nerves.
I went to the doctor yesterday and got diagnosed with “pretty bad bursitis” of my left hip. Pain meds, ice, heat, and rest have all been recommended and done.
I just want to not hurt.
Lucian made totchos for dinner this evening. Tater tot nachos. They were ridiculously good.
I’m going to go pass out.
Take your meds, folks.

1 Vexing Day
I taught Lucian how to use the Instant Pot this evening. They made an amazing coconut chicken and potato curry!
I have a doctor appointment in like, less than ten hours. Maybe it’ll be a good visit and some of my concerns will be addressed. Maybe the new doctor will be wonderful? Idk. I’m going to bed.
Take your meds, folks.

1 Really Bad Pain Day
Lician, Brian, and I went to Ehelnbach’s Cheese Chalet today and it was amazing! I mean, I was absolutely not fond of the ‘cheese fudge’. Cheese and milk chocolate is not a flavor combination that I enjoy. But! We did get an amazing applewood smoked butterkase cheese, a habanero jack cheese, and another that I can’t remember right now.

1 Project in the Pipeline
I am trying to pry my brain away from this whole “homelessness is a reality and unhoused is not a nice word” piece I want to write. It’s not going well. I am absolutely hyper-fixated on it.

Lucian and I went grocery shopping after I got off work today. It was nice! Just sibling hang out time, being goofy in a store together and trying to find a Mr. Coffee-style drip machine for morning coffee.

Dear, sweet, darling DW has opened a can of worms in my head to the point where I am considering writing a random thesis paper on homelessness in America. All his fault.
