What is your favorite type of weather?
I love a good, moody thunder. Especially one that comes on the tail of a blustery, late autumn day where it’s just cold enough to see your breath on every exhale, but warm enough that it can still rain without making it a nightmare to drive.
Who was your most influential teacher? Why?
I have one: Mrs. White.
She was my first grade teacher and spanked me for reading. I got moved into a second grade class, then third when my reading and writing skills surpassed that of my peers. She didn’t get fired, but she did actively try to get me in trouble.
I also skipped fifth grade, I think? Maybe it was sixth. It that’s another story.
