1 Crockpot Full of 5 Quarts of Chopped Apples to Make Apple Butter
1/2 A Bushel of Apples Blanched for Canning
Oh my goodness was the kitchen hot this evening! Owl and I canned about eight quarts of the apple slices into pie filling this evening. And another five to six went into the crock pot on low to stew down into apple butter. So good!

2 Weeks From Today is the 4th of December
Trigger warning: speaking on the loss of parents.
I feel like I’m not allowed to be as sad as I am about my Daddy’s death anniversary. it’s two weeks from today exactly. He’s been gone since 2018; I literally didn’t know what to do that day. Meaning the day after I got the phone call at something like three in the morning.

I’m about to board and have no idea if there will be any flight delays, so I’m doing a quick entry now.
The flight to Austin has a stop in Houston, so I won’t be back on the ground for good until at least 10:30pm Central Time.
