Happy Friday!
Quick recap: for me, May of 2020 is all about self-love. Each day, I’ll be working from one of the prompts from Tia Harding’s 32 Self-Love Journal Prompts or from The Petite Planner’s 30 Days of Self-Love.
Here’s today’s prompt: “If you were a flower, what kind would you be?”

Yesterday was a hard one. So now I’m going with an easier one: what kind of flower would Theodora be? That’s easy! I’d be ranunculus! They’re my favorite flower.
Aren’t they lovely?

They’re so colorful!
And technically, they’re a buttercup!
Wikipedia has a pretty cool entry on them. They are an absolute beast to try and draw, though I keep trying.
I’d be a buttercup like that because am also possibly toxic when eaten and can be irritating when handled too much. Ha!
But seriously though, they my favorite silk flower to work with, other than lilies, which I can only do in silk form because of the cats.
I love fake flower in general, because they’re lovely for a long time. I should do more floral stuff, make nightmare snares again.
Well, I’ve gotta run. Have a good day!
