This one is so much easier for me.
Quick recap: for me, May of 2020 is all about self-love. Each day, I’ll be working from one of the prompts from Tia Harding’s 32 Self-Love Journal Prompts or from The Petite Planner’s 30 Days of Self-Love.
Here’s today’s prompt: “What makes you unique? How can you use this gift?“
I am proud to be unique.
I’m a storyteller, an artist, a writer. I’m trying to use this gift to finish a novel and become a published author. I make things, for myself or others, and send that energy through art out into the world.
I’m a funny person. I have humor and am able to make myself and other smile with this gift.
I know it’s kind of a stereotype these days, but I’m a nerd, as well. And while it may not be good for anything beyond trivia games at sci-fi conventions and collecting shiny trinkets, it’s something that makes me, me.
I collect Bicycle playing cards, crystals, tarot cards, and Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings merchandise.
I used to not wear matching socks, just to be obstinate. I still often wear mismatched earrings to see who might notice or to go with my outfit as I so choose.
I’m an avid reader. Some years more than others, but so far I’ve finished, I believe, at least a dozen books. So that’s more than most people I know read all year. That definitely makes me unique.
That’s all I’ve got this early in the morning. Have a good day, folks!
