What personality trait in people raises a red flag with you?
There are many things that can be boiled down into lack of empathy or compassion. If you don’t care about other people, can’t put yourself in someone’s place when they’re reaching out to you, there is something wrong with your ability to connect with your fellow humans.

While I understand being neurospicy/neurodivergent can be a reason for being lacking in empathy, I also think kindness is a universal trait.
That being said, I, myself, am neurodivergent. I am a person with autism and ADHD, among a host of other diagnosis. I do not lack empathy. In fact, I have a surplus of it.

personally i also think if you are treating someone very warmly and you are always very kind to all the people you meet in your life it’s the biggest green flag I see in someone. Tbh i am that kind of a person no matter who I meet i always try to be friends with them and I always try to reach out to them but what i dislike the most is i am an introvert and i don’t easily get along with people I take my time to be comfortable with that person but sometimes I feel like the way i treat others i.e with all my kindness and heart i feel leftout sometimes i simply expect a good behaviour from the other person whom i treat nicely but they just dont do it so i feel very bad about this..ITS LIKE I JUST WANT THE SAME ENERGY AND VIBE AS OF ME FROM THAT PERSON…

But we’re not always perfect. People, myself especially, try hard to do the right thing, say the right thing, act the right way so we can make friends but it doesn’t always work.

This is definitely true. I can’t trust a person that doesn’t show compassion for other people.
