I’ll be doing four prompts a week, on Wednesdays, tagged #WitchyWednesday on Twitter. I’m happy to clarify anything and respond to any questions or comments. Feel free to contact me as well! As for the prompts, they’re originally from a Tumblr post by user Baduhennasraven.
Here’s this week’s prompts:
- Who do I honor (ex: deities, ancestors, myself, etc), and how do I, or would I like to, honor them?
- What are my ultimate witchy goals and how can I work towards them?
- What is holding me back in my craft?
- What subject do I love to study?
Who do I honor (ex: deities, ancestors, myself, etc), and how do I, or would I like to, honor them?
I pray, in spell and just in general to honor the Gods. Make offerings, on occasion, to them.
As for ancestors, I don’t do much other than try to leave the world a better place so there is some legacy of kindness and compassion in my wake. What better way to honor those that came before than to better the world?
What are my ultimate witchy goals and how can I work towards them?
To finish the Witchy Primer I’m writing. How I can work towards that is to actually work on it more often.
What is holding me back in my craft?
Time, pain levels that I deal with, and depression, honestly. I need to work on that.
What subject do I love to study?
Mostly spell-crafting, as I enjoy it immensely. I also enjoy herbal remedies and kitchen magic, as those are my primary expressions of magic other than literal magical crafting.
