1.5 Days Requested off for the Thanksgiving Break
So my boss lady approved my time off a second time today. First was verbally, now I’ve got an email chain to back me up!
I really hope they don’t try to make me work, coz I’m not gonna be here! I’m going to be HOME FOR TBE HOLIDAY. Not a Christmas person, personally. I like Yule. And the holiday season. But not so much the craziness and expected gift giving.
I’m trying to stick to the Five Gifts this year.

I don’t remember where I first heard of it, but I love it. My list is very small this year:
- Want: a set of interchangeable knitting needles
- Need: Good Socks
- Wear: A new hat in burgundy, black, or dark brown. A beret would work, too!
- Read: two-fer here, but The Body is Not an Apology Book and Workbook
- Fun One: a new dvd/Blu-ray/movie; hopefully of At Eternity’s Gate or one of the dozens of others on my Movie Wish List.

Now then, I just had to put down my phone because my dear, sweet, darling baby kitty boy dropped a freaking frog on my face.
I knew one had gotten into the house. I even tried to catch it as poor Fen is terrified of them.
But this fucking cat dropped it on my face. My. Face.
I’m going to go wash my face (twice!) and try to get some sleep.
