Prompt Answer: Favorite Game

What’s your favorite game (card, board, video, etc.)? Why?

Hands down, my favorite card game is Rummy. My mother and I had a notebook for a Rummy 1,000,000 game. With her untimely demise, I guess she won, her last score was 132,840 to my 132,775.

My favorite board game is Terraforming Mars. I love playing with J, Charles, and Mellon.

And my favorite video game is Diablo III or Sims 3. I love the house building and play of simulation games and I love the dungeon running of Diablo.

When it comes to trading card games, I’d have to say Magic: The Gathering holds my heart. Even if I started out playing Yu Gi Oh!, I still prefer M:TG.

For table top rpgs, Deadlands is my favorite. Pathfinder 2e is great, D&D okay, but I love the Savage World products.

Oh! And when it comes to dice games? Yahtzee. Fucking love Yahtzee.

So, there’s that.

Review: Year One

By: Nora Roberts

Available on: Amazon, Audible, and Barnes and Noble.
Overview:

Blurb: It began, much as it did for us, with a sickness that spread quick and deadly. But rather than COVID-19, the Doom, as it is known, killed millions and awakened the magical bloodlines in some of the survivors. Now, the world is an apocalyptic hellscape with the best and worst of humanity on open display. Magic runs deep in some of the remnants of humanity. And while it is magic that unleashed the Doom, it may be magic that saves the world.
