1 Movie Seen

I saw a movie today! Happy Imbolc to me! Heh.

I met up with Linna for brunch this morning. My brain has been kinda wonky and I just needed to get out of my routine a little.

We had food at this place called Brunchies. It was okay food, I guess. Had a side salad with honey Dijon dressing that was pretty good. And this chicken breast and chorizo thing as my main. I wish I could have eggs. For the first thing, I’d be able to get a lot more protein in my diet with a lot more ease if I could. For another, I could pull off keto a hell of a lot better with such an easy to prepare and consume protein. And yet another: I could have deviled eggs! But alas, I can’t. I need to find that vegan egg thing and try that once I have sick days saved up.

My stupid food allergies makes everything a little more difficult. Cooked tomato, mango, strawberries, avocado, shrimp, eggs: I want to eat them all! But I can’t.

It’s frustrating when you’re trying to eat better and everything you want to eat makes you sick or tries to close your throat.

Anyway. After brunch, we went to the dangerous place.

And because of the movie time, we left without getting any new clutter books to the to-read pile.

Knives Out was quite the caper movie, and very well shot. I liked the characters and costuming and the twists in the movie.

After that, we went for a wander through the Mart of Wal to pick up two things I’ve been putting off getting.

We had an early supper and parted ways for the day.

Then I came home and wrote/plotted for a bit.

I’m tired but not exhausted, so that’s good.i should be going to bed soon.

Take your meds, folks.
