Of Glue and Good Friends

12.5 Rows into Fen’s Rainbow Round Ripple Blanket

2 New To Me Lended Hot Glue Guns

I don’t know what kind of crafter I am that I am just now venturing into hot-glue territory. I’m making commissioned wreathes for the holiday season and I’ve not used a hot glue in in… recent memory.

Like maybe more than a decade?

But I’ll experiment this weekend and strive not to burn the shit out of myself whilst I do so.

I was working on Papa Tom’s Buffalo Plaid Hat this evening but Spock decided he was having none of that. He promptly climbed up Mount Mama, snuggled into my chest, and refused to leave.

Image is of a large black cat with green eyes taking up most of the screen/image. In the background, a short-haired person is looking wryly amused at the cat’s presence.

Poor baby was traumatized (sarcasm) by the pest guy coming in today. His food bowl was moved and I’d bet money he couldn’t figure out where his bowl of crunchies went off to.

I’m three peaks short of thirteen rows on Fen’s Rainbow Round Ripple Blanket. It’s the same pattern as the one I used for dear DW’s blanket. But this time I’m using a self-striping, rainbow yarn.

I wish I could make things for more people. And make money off it. Hopefully I’ll be able to do so this holiday season.

I can’t wait till I get paid on Friday. And I need to put in some overtime at work tomorrow, so I think I’m going to head to bed.

Take your meds, folks.
