I have had an extremely long day, so I will be brief.
I have:
- Had an everything bagel for breakfast with Tina and her little dude
- Got the living daylights squeezed out of me by absolutely adorable four, five, and six year old children
- Paid four dollars for a goddamned in-flight Diet Coke
- Used an airplane lavatory for the first time in twenty plus years
- Had to catch my purse when the plane suddenly fell for three solid seconds over a turbulent pocket atop some thunderstorms
- Dealt with an hour of in-flight turbulence without having a panic attack
- Had two bowls of Thai Chicken Curry that Mal made
- Taught my nieces the Dance, Dance, Freeze game and played it until they both collapsed on the floor
- Got stomped in three of four games of Candyland
- Lots every single game of Guess Who?
- Was able to share photos of our Nana (mom’s mom) with my brother and his wife
All in all, a damn good day. I’m going to go appease the Duolingo owl and go to sleep. I get to see Reffie tomorrow! I am extremely excited!!
