2 Scoops of Ice Cream Eaten
1 Order of Waffle House Hashbrowns Scattered, Smothered, and Topped Along with Some Pickled Jalapeño Peppers
Somehow my dates are off again. Something hinky there, but I’m too tired to care properly.
Today was a lovely day. I didn’t get around to cleaning the bathroom or doing laundry, but since I actively planned to do nothing tomorrow, maybe I can squeeze it in then.
I met up with Reffie at her place this morning. We talked a bit about our plans to go Up North at some point next year. And we went to brunch at Waffle House! I had an All Star Breakfast with wheat toast, bacon, aforementioned hash browns, two eggs scrambled with cheese, and a waffle the size of my head. It was delicious! Too much food, probably, but delicious.
We spent the day together doing nothing really. Reffie had a few books for me to read and she gifted me those and an awesome t-shirt! It was a nice day. In the afternoon, after a mental siesta and my first viewing of the 1955 classic “We’re No Angels”, we went to Revolution Ice Cream.
What a place! So good. If you’re in Brandon, I recommend it. They have groovy art for sale and damn good ice cream.
Anyway, one of the books Reffie gifted me was “The Talented Mr. Ridley”. I’ve not seen the movie or read the book before, so that’s going to be a real treat. I haven’t the brain power to read tonight.
I’m going to flop into bed like a dropped fish and pass out.
Take your meds, folks!
