14,052 Days Alive
10 Hour Day
1 Massive Thunderstorm
I did not sleep well last night. Between staying out too late, however much fun I had, and my nightmares, I barely got any sleep.
And then I had an extra long day at work: eight to six because of a bunch of very important things that needed to be done right away. It will get better as I get more experience in doing things, but today it was just frustrating. I needed to decompress after work.
So I called Rayne, who happened to be in my area when I called them. He let me vent for a while and then we decided to meet up and break bread. They were an absolute sweetheart and bought me dinner. Nachos, the dinner of champions!
It was pouring when we left Denny’s and neither of us is overfond of driving in bad rain. So we chilled in their car and talked. He’s very demonstrative and that’s something I’m not used to, so it’s taking a little adapting to get acclimated.
It’s the first day of Camp NaNoWriMo and I’ve not written a damn thing. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow.
Mentally, I’m… alive. The suicidal radio is playing loudly, but I have no plans to self-harm. Though I’d absolutely love if I could have gotten a tattoo for my birthday. Oh well. Maybe next year.
I’m fried. But I still have one more say before my three day weekend. I hope to see J and Bill6 on Monday for a game day. But that also means cleaning up the house on Friday night and Saturday.
I have plans to go see Rayne at their place on Sunday. Hopefully that’ll be fun.
Anyway, I’ve got to appease the Duolingo owl and head to bed.
Take your meds, folks.
