Spock is parked in my lap. Apparently I was gone too long today.

I went to work a little early, so I guess I can see why he would be upset. And it’s sweet he is such a love bug. But it does make it a little hard to crochet when he’s all up in my lap and trying to snuggle the blanket I’m working on making.

I’m up to over four thousand total words for NaNoWriMo! I’m hoping I can keep this momentum.

I actually took my lunch break today. Spent time with this super clever and nice lady on another team named Kim. We went to the restaurant at the base of the building because they have a two sandwiches for six dollar special on Tuesdays.

I also had a panic attack today at work. We hired a new person who starts Monday but we weren’t told what they were doing or who they were replacing. So immediately the brain gremlins started screeching that I was going to be fired and end up homeless and that whole old hat, rather annoying refrain.

I don’t know if I’m taking my lunch break tomorrow. I should but it just depends on whether or not I get in early enough. Which means I should go to bed here shortly.

I had another date with Cleo this evening after work! They made this delicious and super easy chicken enchilada soup with mushrooms and sweet corn. Totally yoinking the recipe for future reference.

I’ve appeased the Duolingo owl for the day and am going to mercilessly tease the Spockers with the laser pointer for a few so he gets some play time before we bunk down for the night.
