Well, I didn’t get any laundry put away, but I had a supremely productive day. Both magically and mundane, I’ve been productive.
I slept in just a bit.
I took my meds and ate breakfast. and hydrated.
I finally tracked down my W2s, digitally, as the others got lost in the mail. Which, ya know, stresses me out because identity theft is a real thing that could happen. But I’m just going to hope they show up either back in Chicago or here in Indiana at some point.
I went to the library and got my library card! Woo hoo! I’m going to go some time this week to wander the stacks and see what they have.
I went to the post office and mailed my state tax return to Illinois. And I e-filed my taxes for the federal side of things. Yay for not owing any money to the government! I also mailed a thank you card to the amazing Korean bbq place we went to for date night the other week. And random cards to a few loved ones, my niblings in Florida and my bestie, J l, in Ohio.
A few other people are due for a card, but I’ve not had the table space to make any just yet. Now that we have desks and mine is a little less of an explosion of random crap, I’m hoping to make some in my down time and send them out.
I’ve been thinking a lot on my faith today and I consider myself a Intersectional Universal Humanist. If you’re unfamiliar with Humanism, never mind that I’ve completely made up the phrase “Intersectional Universal Humanist”, type it into your favorite search engine and go ‘splore.
I may have an entry up about being an IUH here shortly on my other blog, but not tonight.
I’m off for now. Take your meds, folks.
