It’s New Year’s Eve! Less than an hour till The Gregorian New Year kicks off. Here’s hoping 2025 is one of gentle growth, laughter, and positive change.
I have a rather extensive list of goals I’d like to achieve in the next 365 days.:
- Attend at least one social event that isn’t Pathfinder
- Buy a walking pad or a new office chair
- Celebrate my 40th birthday somehow
- Dinner at the hotpot place with Mac
- Extra car payment before the end of the year
- Finish and publish fanfic: “Timeline Troubles” on AO3
- Go to Ohio to visit Jae and Charles
- Hang out in a coffee shop and socialize at least once
- Ivy Tech classes, try to attend some!
- Juggling balls, buy some and learn
- Kick some extra money to Uncle George when I can
- Lose 10 pounds over the next year
- Make one new friend outside of Pathfinder
- Nag the hell out of Mac into going for a walk at least once
- Open all the boxes still packed and unpack them
- Clean up the yarn in the front hall
- Purchase another Yankee Candle in a scent I like
- Read at least 26 books in the ABC Challenge (StoryGraph)
- Read at least five books off my TBR pile
- Publish a chapter a month on the HP fanfic “Crows at the Crossroads” on AO3
- Strive to be happy
- Try one new recipe a month
- Use the Always Fully Booked planner to track reading
- Vaccination booster ASAP
- Buy 2025 Magickal Calendar
- Travel to Florida to see the fam
- Find better paying position
- Buy a new phone case
- Doctor appointment: 7th Jan 2025 430?
- Eye exam: 18th Jan 2025, 10 am
- Get a haircut
- Buy new work shoes (flats or boots?)
- File taxes for 2024
- Oil Change for Sherrinford in January
- At least 2 new tires for Sherrinford by June
That’s the list as I have it now. I may take off or add on some goals as the year progresses.
