I only got a few hundred words written today. I’m hoping tomorrow goes far better. I’ve had 10,000 word days before, so I’m not giving up hope yet.
I had a cup of tea from the Republic of Tea advent calendar that Chelé got me for Christmachanukwanzukabirthdasolstinewyearmas. Today was mint! One of my favorites. Last week it was peppermint bark, one that I love so much I’ve got a tin of it at work and at home. I added some Splenda and a hearty dash of vanilla creamer, but I do love me a milk tea. Too bad we don’t have boba in house.
For all that I’ve written, I’m not even a third of the way done with Moral Fable. It’s exciting and frustrating and wonderful all at the same time.
I need to do laundry tomorrow at some point. Mount Laundry is getting pretty big and I’ve run out of sleep pants. Thankfully, the big snuggly warming blanket Chelé got me has been a gods-send the last few days. It’s been chilly so when I wake up in the middle of the night, I can turn it on and snuggle back down to sleep.
Speaking of sleep, I’m heading that way now. I’ve already appeased the Duolingo owl for the day and taken my meds.
