I got to video chat with J tonight! Fist time since they made the move to Ohio.
It was really nice to see them. We didn’t talk about anything really weighty. Just kind of chatted and caught up with each other. I showed them the Little Boy Blue Blanket I’m working on for Megan.
I miss them terribly, but I’m also spending more time with Cleo, so it’s not like I’m sitting home alone staring at the ceiling waiting for the collapse of society or for the sky to fall.
Mentally, I’m an egg. By that I mean I am feeling scrambled and fried. But I’ll try got recharge over the weekend.
I’ll be seeing the fam tomorrow, the Gator side. I’ll be giving Aunt and Uncle Gator the throw I made for them. I hope they like it.
Anyway, I’m going to go doomscroll on social media for a bit before I meditate and wind down for the evening.
