Today was mad busy at work. Like, I wasn’t able to take a lunch break today type busy. But I got a shit ton done, so that’s something. My metrics are to log at least 64, and I succeeded and surpassed that pretty well.
I was supposed to have movie night with Tim tonight, but it got rescheduled for tomorrow night so I could do some homework. I’ve done just shy of half of what & need to do for the first week of classes. I’ve taken a lot of notes so far, but I might try to purchase some Frixon pens and a large pack of Frixon highlighters when I get paid on Friday so I can use my Rocketbook to take and digitize my notes.
If you’re not familiar with Rocketbook, which I got off Amazon, it is a (conditionally) reusable notebook. The ink just wipes off the pages with a damp cloth! Also, that isn’t an affiliate link at all, just the one that I purchased for myself a while back. Anyway, you can digitize and upload the pages to various cloud apps. That’s super cool and would be super useful for school. However, you have to use the Frixon pens with the notebook for them to work properly.
I have made myself a school supply list on Amazon that I will slowly make my way through as finances allow. The biggest priority right now is pens I can use in my Rocketbook and a cover for it so I can study on the go.
I am hoping to go to a queer craft night on Thursday at a local coffee shop called The Well. I really need more more local social interaction opportunities. I’m so lonely. And I can’t drive five hours plus, one way, to go see J as often as I would like to.
Anyway, it’s 11:11 now, so I am going to do my nightly Duolingo, do some reading on the latest nonfiction book I grabbed from the library, and go to bed.
