1 Milky Way Bar Ordered Through DoorDash by Mac
I don’t like Snickers bars. Why does this matter? Rather than the single Milky Way bar I asked for when Mac was offering to order desert, I got two , king-sized Snickers bars. Sad day. they hurt my teeth, or at least the peanuts do.
Oh well. It’s a total first-world problem. But very disappointing as all I’ve wanted a day, in no particular order, is some kosher dill pickles, a little bit of chocolate, and some sautéed red bell pepper, yellow onion, and mushrooms. I did get to have some pickles today, thanks to the awesome cafeteria lady who didn’t so much as blink when all I asked for was some pickles. She just grabbed a small handful and plopped it into a container for me.
I have so many Amazon wish lists. My most recent one is a grocery wishlist for stuff that would work for breakfast, lunch, meal planning, and snackie stuff. I know Chelé picked out a thing or two off the list for me, just as a “because I can” act of kindness. I’ve got all of $5.53 to my name until Friday. Which sucks, but it is better than in the negative.
I’m exhausted and in pain. But I got through my first lecture and hope to get through the other five some time tomorrow after work.
I hit 2,000 days in a row in Duolingo today. An accomplishment of unknown importance and magnitude. But interesting nonetheless.
I’m for bed.
Take your meds, folks.
