I had my micro party today! In about nine hours and fifteen minutes, Eastern, I will officially turn 35.
I forgot to take a picture of the cake before we cut into it. No candles, because COVID has me paranoid a bit about intentionally exhaling on a cake. But the party was fun.
Joy came, which was lovely. I gifted her a chakra themed pendant with a rainbow of stones wrapped around it. She gave me a wonderful chunk of amethyst, a beautiful candle, and some hand-tatted lace!
DW came as well. We got to introduce him to Unstable Unicorns and Pit. Both are very fun games. He loved his blanket, thankfully. I was so worried it was not going to be to his liking or something. He gifted me some cordial glasses for my altar and a jar of locally made pickled jalapeños.
Meg gifted me a book stamp and some lovely rose soap, as well as an antique stamp holder and standing mirror. I gave her an enamel pin of a black cat that she seemed to really enjoy.
J and Bill6 gave me a new tarot deck and a light/stand combo to hold my phone! The deck is the Everyday Tarot that I had on my Amazon wishlist.
I slept terribly last night. I was still awake when Steph’s alarm went off at quarter to six.
I’m happy. Tired and a little sad, but I’ll be all right.
I’m going to appease the Duolingo owl and head to bed.
Take your meds, folks.
