12,801 Days Alive
Today was a tempest-tossed day, quite literally.
Nothing went to plan, but the beastly machine is finally fixed and I had a couple thousand pages to scan in once it was working.
My direct boss Miss A is out for the next two days, so I want to really knock it out of the park in her absence.
Now for something not work related: I got to use my new umbrella today! My spiffy umbrella worked well in the downpour that was waning when I got home. It’s no fun to drive in near-washout conditions after an extra-long day.
I only woke up three times last night. Once was because of Spock being a big butthead and jumping on me. Cats, man. Adorable little jerk faces.
I didn’t work on Cousin Kay’s blanket this evening. I did rack up over 200 experience points in Esperanto today on Duolingo. I’m really enjoying it.
Writing-wise I’ve gotten a little done, but not much. I need to work on that more.
Mentally, I’m not okay, but can’t pinpoint exactly what’s wrong. I’m just Not Okay. But I’m going to keep going. All I can do.
Anyway, I’m going to go to bed. Take your meds, folks.
