Well, I didn’t make it to fifty thousand words this month. Just under 15,000 words short. I tried and I’m going to keep writing, and I believe that it what truly matters. I’ve gotten into the habit of writing daily and I really want to keep that momentum going.
It’s going to get down into the forties tonight, maybe even the thirties. I’ll have reason to break out my Ravenclaw scarf and my Tonks jacket tomorrow!
I’m trying to view the loss of NaNoWriMo as a small victory rather than a large defeat. I’m struggling with it at the moment, but maybe it’ll get better as I keep writing and get more done.
Fen got me a cup of cocoa from their trip to IHOP. Tonight was definitely a cocoa kind of night. It’s crisp and windy and starting to get chilly.
Anyway, I’m for bed. I stayed up too late last night writing. I need more sleep.
