1 Holiday Tradition Accomplished
Fen and I watched Die Hard this evening. Because it’s a Christmas movie, of course. I forgot how much I enjoyed it, as it’s been many years since last I saw it.
I’ve started a lunch-hour project. To make sure I actually take my lunch breaks, I’ve been writing during them, on my phone. First for NaNoWriMo, now just for my 200 we’d challenge, where I strive to write at least 200 words a day for the month of December. So far the self-indulgent fic in writing is almost 8,000 words long and I’ve literally only just begun!
I’m going to be incorporating some real world magic into the story in the form of kitchen witchery. It’ll be interesting!
The holidays are coming up. I’m stressing out because I don’t know if I can afford to get people holiday gifts this year. I wanted to get Tink something nice for her birthday, but she hasn’t responded to the message I sent earlier today. Maybe she’s just busy. But with her birthday being Christmas Eve, I wanted to get her a birthday gift at least. And then there’s Fen, J, Bill6, Reffie, and Chelé. Everyone else I can pretty much just make a card and call it groovy, I think. I’ll worry about it next paycheck. This one was too lean.
Anyway. I’m for bed as soon as I appease the Duolingo owl.
