I only had to work a half day today, which was awesome. I love the camaraderie of holiday work days. Everyone is so supportive of each other at my workplace and it’s really nice.
After I got off work, I had to get my medication before the stores closed for the holiday. Picked up the last of the ingredients for the chocolate chip banana bread cookies. So, woo hoo for that.
There’s a cold front coming through tonight that’s bringing some wicked winds and rain. Spock has been cuddled up with me for most of the evening.
Fen and I ran some errands after I got out of work and then we went to Denny’s for a holiday meal. We picked up a pumpkin pie from there and plan to have some tomorrow. I got pancakes and scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage for my dinner. It was delicious.
When we got home, we watched The Muppet Christmas Carol and then moved on to more spooky and silly stuff. The Blair Thumb was first which is a hilarious riff on The Blair Witch. Which is what we chose to watch next. And now we’ve moved on to Paranormal Activity.
This holiday season has been hellacious. Nothing like past years, which is to be expected when COVID-19 is still a problem.
Anyway, happy Christmas to all those who celebrate it! Good Yuletide and all that jazz.
And, it’s especially important to remember to take your meds, folks.
