5th Rewatch of The Muppet Christmas Carol

3 Loads of Laundry Put Away

2 Egg Rolls Eaten

1 Tired Kitty Cat

Today was… difficult. Not without its lovely moments though. I found myself thinking of Daddy a lot today. He was always big on Christmas, or at least the giving gifts and embracing the heart of the season. I miss his laugh. I miss him.

But it’s not all sadness. I got to text with several dear ones today. Another few I’m holding in my prayers whether I got to speak with them or not.

Fen and I had coffee and pumpkin pie for breakfast, like the functional adults we are. Heh. They used one of the coffees I got them for Yule! They had a video chat with their family and opened their presents from their fam while on the call. I thought it was a cool way to have a “proper” Christmas with far-flung family members.

I did some house chores; Fen was an absolute doll and did the dishes I just didn’t have the spoons to do. I did finally put away all the laundry that was on my bed and got everything back to the way it should be. I still have more laundry to do, but it’ll be there regardless.

I got more done on my lovely Scrapghan while waiting for my lovely Christmas guest to join me. Reffie came over! We had Chinese food, as all good ishy-Jews like myself do on Christmas Day. I had General Tso’s Chicken and some egg rolls. My fortune was something about going with the flow. I don’t quite remember.

Also because of Reffie, I watched the first episode of The Mandalorian. I quite enjoyed it and will watch more when I’m not absolutely wrung out.

I’m going to head to bed.

Take your meds, folks.
