21 Goals to Accomplish in 2021

I spent my New Year with Reffie! We watched Letterkenny to ring in the new year with laughter and damn good company.

Reffie was a frickin’ Star and made crepes for breakfast this morning, with a side of bacon. She made this apples and cinnamon filling that was absolutely the bomb.

I started getting the shadow of a migraine though, so I went home around midday, after watching more episodes of The Mandalorian. I took some imatrex abd ended up knocking out until five p.m. Better a nap than starting the new year of 2021 with a gorram migraine.

So unbeknownst to me, my old high school bestie, Ian, came into town early. As in this evening. He’s, as always, entertaining to be around. I wasn’t expecting to see him until our breakfast plans tomorrow.

He knows things are tight for me right now, so he bought me dinner at the local Taco Bus. We both got chimichangas; I got the spicy chicken and he got the regular chicken. It was delicious. Perhaps even my new favorite thing there!

I also got to have a brief, distanced hang out with my old friend Shaun. We have also known each other since high school. Ian found out we hadn’t had a chance to see each other for a long while and made sure that changed.

Anyway, that was my first day of the new year: nearly getting a migraine, watching The Mandalorian, have crepes and chowing down on a chimichanga with Ian.

Mentally, I’m a little stressed about money. But other than that, life should be fine. I’m still having a bitch of a time focusing at work but I’m hoping my next doctor’s appointment with my psych meds doc Peter helps me with that.

I’m not stressed about my goals, though. I’m looking forward to the small victories this year will bring.

Anyway, I’ve got to be up in a few hours. I’m going to bed.

Take your meds, folks.
