Of Christmas Eve and Charcuterie

Holiday traditions are a wonderful thing. We watched The Muppet Christmas Carol, as I always do on Christmas Eve. I’m up with J and Bill6 for the holiday weekend with Spock.

I wasn’t feeling well last night and this morning so I skipped out on the Gator family gathering. I was just so tired, so burnt out. I think I napped for, like, two hours after I got here.

J and Bill6 broke out an amazing charcuterie board for our belated lunch. And tomorrow is going to be oven-roasted prime rib, scalloped potatoes, and roasted root vegetables.

We played my favorite board game, Terraforming Mars, before we all crashed for a few hours. Spock did okay on the car ride up. Not great, as he got car sick, but he was well-behaved.

Now we’ve got our second wind and are playing Eldritch Horror and waiting for the apple pie to finish baking.

I’m off to play my turn.

Happy All The Holidays, friends. And take your meds, folks.
