2 Possible Bites from Potential Employers
The job hunt continues. I’m hopeful but also slightly discouraged. Not that I’m taking the rejections personal, so much as I’m taking the discourteous ghosting as unprofessional and rather disheartening.
But Papa B says to keep my chin up and that even he’s gotten rejected from places in his own job hunt and he has decades of experience on me.
Spock wants so badly to be friends with Bianco’s kitty, Sophie. She’s having absolutely none of it. Poor guy just wants a good kitty snuggle. He’s been really pushing boundaries lately with Sophie, sitting in the same room while she eats, trying to edge into Bianco’s room to see her.
Tomorrow, my brothers Sean Michael and Pinny are coming over for supper. I’m making them walk with me to the grocery store. This serves several purposes. First, it gets the three of us out of the house and out of Bianco’s hair whilst he’s working from home. Second, I get to spend time with my brothers. Third, I can carry more with three sets of hands than I can with just one. Finally, it gets my brothers and I some exercise.
I’m making oven baked nachos for them on the cookie sheet that the Papas bought for me. Provided the oven works. I think we’d know if the pilot light in the oven is out, though. But nuked (microwaved) nachos are just as delicious, should it come down to it.
I’ve actually got a decent meal plan for the rest of the week. It’s just a matter of whether I purchase the enchilada sauce for the one pot penne dish I’m making this weekend or if I buy the supplies for it.
I’m going to head to bed. I didn’t fall asleep until fairly late last night, so I’m going to try and get a decent night’s sleep tonight.
Take your meds, folks.
