1 Fond, Sad Goodbye for Now
Well, Mellon is back home in Indiana now. He caught the South Shore Line back home this afternoon.
I miss them already.
I plan on doing the Five Things for them for the winter holidays. Getting them one thing they want, one thing they need, something to wear, something to read, and one just for fun!
So far I have something they need, something to wear, and something to read. Still need one thing they want (probably dice) and one just for fun.
J is getting a surprise for the holidays. Reffie… maybe something handmade. I’ve got her Amazon list I could always surprise her with something. Chelé is getting a shawl and a little gift. That’s pretty much most of my holiday gifting. My brother and his family are all getting little thoughtful gifts. A family activity of some kind and a date night for him and his wife. My brothers here in Chicago? No clue. Maybe make them a meal or something. Or socks.
Stupid weather shift hast seasonal allergies kicking my butt. I need to get to the store tomorrow to pick up allergy meds.
I also absolutely need to get laundry done. Although Nitza and Jimmy retired, it seems they handed off the laundromat to someone so it is still open. I’ll go tomorrow morning and knock out a load or two.
I absolutely am turning into a pumpkin right now. I’m going to bed.
