301 Miles to Drive Tomorrow

Well, my friends, I’m going in my first solo road trip in my new vehicle tomorrow after work. I’m super excited and slightly nervous.
I’ll be going to see J and Charles over in Ohio. The weather is supposed to be decent. I just got my oil changed and my fluids topped off. And I’m going to stop for gas after work before I get on the road to fuel up and grab a drink since I grabbed some road munchies when I hit the store yesterday. Beef jerky, some twin snake gummy worms, honey roasted peanuts, and water.
Since it’s a five hour drive, give or take with traffic, I won’t be there till about ten p.m. But I’m so excited to be seeing them this weekend.
I’ve been struggling with loneliness lately. I’m trying to make friends, but it’s not working well.
Anyway, I need to be well-rested so I’m going to bed.
