Today was the birthday celebrations for Connor’s fifth birthday, which was yesterday, and Tina’s birthday, which happens to be tomorrow!
They both really like their gifts. That made me happy. Tina went all out for Connor’s birthday making treats. She made chocolate dipped double stuffed Oreos that look like Pokéballs with red and white chocolate. And she made some homemade Pokéball sugar cookies, and what she called peep-achus. Like, side dipped their ears in chocolate and piped little red cheese on the bunny shaped peeps. Amazing. And somehow the only peeps I have had this year, even though I have seen both Dr. Pepper and Hot Tamale style peeps!
Tomorrow is the full moon, specifically the Flower Moon. I will be doing a small ritual of prosperity for Sharky, J, myself, and a few other people.
I need to do laundry tomorrow. And also the day that I need to get all my damn homework done and submitted. I have all of one class done, but the second class I have literally thirty things to interact with. That being lectures, assignments, interactive videos, digital flash cards, a final discussion board post, and the weekly assessment. It’s a lot, but I’ve gotten through half the lectures already this morning and afternoon. I should be okay, so long as I don’t sleep the day away!
I am tired and wired. And I’m in pain. And emotionally challenged with tomorrow being Mother’s Day. So I’m going to get some sleep.
