When we went to Ehlenbach’s Cheese Chalet about a week and a half ago, we picked up a few cheeses, including this delicious garlic cheese. We had an interesting, low spoons dinner this evening.
After I knocked out my homework, in which I was able to extol the downfall of capitalism with sources, Brian and I went to the kitchen, fought with a couple of blocks of cheese, and I cooked us up some dinner. Just basic oven-baked Spam fries and grilled cheese sandwiches, so nothing fancy.
But man was it good! I used the garlic brick for mine, and snacked on my favorite espresso-rind hard cheese! While the sandwiches were cooking.
Work was bonkers. Tomorrow. My coworker, referred to here as “Nina” from here on out, has been there seven week. I’ve been there four weeks. It’s… going to be interesting. I feel like I’m going to have to remember to stay within my limits and not try to over-help Nina. And that, as a way to not be annoying but still supportive, I am telling myself that I can only offer help up to twice in a day. If Nina requests assistance, and I have the capacity, I will absolutely help her. But man almighty does our workloads seem to greatly differ.
Our boss, Sarah, is only in on Mondays now. That’s it’s. The two of us, doing a three person job, alone, four days a week and still green as hell on this particular site… I am not encouraged that we are going to succeed.
Anyway, I’m headed to bed.
