Edit: son of a bitch! I fell asleep before hittting post again.
Llama and I drove from Madison to a town called Steven’s Point to visit Herrshner’s. It’s an amazing craft warehouse with an attached retail store. It is absolutely a danger zone for people like me, people that are multi-crafters.
They have a massive wall of puzzles, an entire clearance room the size of a large apartment. I’m talking at least 1000 square feet of clearance stuff. Yarn, cross stitch, knitting and crochet kits, needles and hooks and so much BEAUTIFUL yarn. It was delightful. And I was able to get Lucian a small gift, a box of glitter crayons and a box of neon crayons, which me happy. And he loved them, too, which definitely delighted me.
We ended up at a rock shop and a bookstore while we were there. Bad for our wallets, good for our hearts! I spent a whole $6.99 and got three books. I am delighted. I got a “happy birthday” stone for Lucian, since Sunday is his birthday. We don’t have a set plan for his gestational escape anniversary just yet, but I’m sure it will be fun.
Llama and I are going to take Lucian and Brian to the zoo tomorrow! I am super excited about it. I am worried a little about overdoing it and throwing myself into a fibromyalgia flare up. If I need to tap out at some point tomorrow, I will convey as much. I also plan to bring my cane just in case. I’m in moderate pain tonight.
The four of us sat out in the living room while we ate dinner. Chicken nuggets, popcorn chicken, and tater tots with so many sauces was dinner. We re-watched The Emperor’s New Groove with dinner. It was the movie that Llama got her nickname from, so that was a great throwback.
Okay. Gonna head to bed. Tomorrow is gonna be a long day.
