I cried. In a mostly-good way, but yeah, that movie was a fist to the emotional solar plexus.

Rental Family is immediately on my “to buy” list when it comes to DVD. Not just because of the cast. Brendan Fraser is a heartbreaking, wonderful actor. The movie has some heavy themes, gently cradled. Three tissue movie; someone was cutting some pretty damn strong onions in the theater. L cried too, and the only other two people in the theater were audibly sniffling as the lights came up.

One of the local Goodwill stores has vinyl records for $0.99 + tax. Guess who has a massive Crown Royal bag filled with mostly silver change? And now owns five records, some damn good records, and two ridiculous ones. Sesame Street put out this hilarious riff album called Born to Add 1983 and it came home with me.

I also found Leonard Bernstein’s work with the New York Philharmonic and The Columbia Symphony doing both Rhapsody in Blue and An American in Paris. For 99 cents plus tax, it came come with me, too.

I also finally scored a lovely little glass pumpkin for $2.99. It needs a bit of cleaning, but I so adore blown glass, so I didn’t mind.

Okay, I need to do my Duolingo and fall face-first into bed. I have only a few things I would like to accomplish tomorrow, but I’ve been having such issues falling asleep lately.

Take your meds, folks!
