Of Plows and Punctuality

14,768 Days Alive

1 Hour Early to Work today

Well, I started my new part-time job today! I think I clicked pretty well with my new coworkers. Or at least I hope I did!

I was accidentally a full hour early today. Whoops. They let me clock in early, which was nice. And I get a full hour for lunch! Which is fantastic. I like the job, which is patient care coordinator (PCC) for a local three location eye clinic. I really think it’s going to be awesome.

The snow plows did a great job clearing the 8-12” of snow that was dumped on Madison over the weekend. Thankfully, Brian helped me clear off my vehicle yesterday so I could pick up my meds and get a little more snowy-night-driving practice while I had a trusted person in the vehicle.

My first day at my new job was awesome. I am surrounded by pronoun-respecting stealth queers and actual allies! I still miss “fun” hair colors, but I should get used to it over time… or get a small collection of wigs as time goes on.

I am a little roasted in the brain from all the information from work today. I’m going to pretend to watch a few episodes of Forensic Files and work on the blanket for my sorta-stepsister, Lynne. Lynne, and my late not-bio dad’s most recent ex-wife, Hillie, have been dealing with medical troubles as of late.

So. Off to crochet I go.

Take your meds, folks!
