As I mentioned last night, Lucian and I went to the movies this evening. Yes I am absolutely exhausted. I am also in a wonderful mood even though my left hip is screaming in pain from the stupid bursitis and sitting still for too long.
Lucian liked the movie. He loves Jim Henson already; Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppet Treasure Island are two of his favorite movies. Funny enough, they’re also two of my favorite comfort/childhood memory laden movies.
Despite the drastic differences in how we were raised and who we were raised by, Lucian and I have eerily similar senses of humor. Whether it’s genetic pre-disposition, much like our mutual affliction of fibromyalgia, or just a quirk of the weird individuals we grew up around. I’m not sure.
Regardless, I am so glad I got to watch Labyrinth in theaters. I am even more appreciative that I got to share it with my sibling.
Anyway, I have homework. I need to do it soon. But sleep sounds like a better idea, even though tomorrow is Saturday.
