1 New/Old Video Game Picked Up
Mellon and I took up playing RuneScape this evening. It’s an old video game from 2001.
It’s really fun and we’ll be able to game together and do quests without my computer overheating. I really need to get a cooling mat for the old girl.
Speaking of need, I need to get a set of old man cat stairs for Spock. I’ve noticed he sometimes has trouble jumping down from the bed. I’ve added some to my Amazon wishlist, but it’s unfortunately low on the financial priority list.
Financially? I’m a little fucked. I’m getting maybe under fifty hours a paycheck. Ugh. I’m going to have to get a second job.
I, thankfully, have supportive and wonderful friends so I was able to get my meds. I am going to have to ask the Papas for help with groceries, but we have a good bit before I need to do that. At least a week or so.
I can’t wait for the end of the month. I won’t be able to go see Mellon til their birthday on the 31st. I’ve asked off so I can take the train to see them. I miss them a lot.
We had a discussion last night about how I wasn’t ready to say that I love Mellon, as I’m a little gun shy emotionally after the fiasco that was my divorce. But the potential for a deeper emotional connection is completely on the table. We just need to keep communicating as we have been, open and honest.
I’m going to head to bed. I’m bleedy, over-hydrated, and exhausted.
Take your meds, folks.
