12,525 Days Alive
Today was a day where things didn’t quite go to plan, but I had a good time anyway.
Reffie and I met up this morning for what was going to be brunch at First Watch. It didn’t work out and we ended up at the local pub insurance.

I got to see lovely pics of her recent holiday! She showed me some amazing shots she took of the historic houses she visited.
After brunch, we watched the first episode of McCallum, which I enjoyed. I love John Hannah, so his presence was a delightful bonus.
Then we hit up the local Stonehill meeting, which was the last meeting before Necronomicon this year-which is an awesome convention I very much enjoy attending. While there, I ran into some friends I hadn’t seen in a while, which was nice.
After that, Reffie and I, sadly, had to part ways so she could catch dinner with her mother. We didn’t get around to writing at all today, but I broke 18,000 words on my work in progress Midnight Calls. I’m hoping to finish it before the year is out.
It’s almost ten now, so I’m going to head to bed. Take your meds, folks.
