20 Days Till the New Adventure
Change is on the wind! thank you pray, positive thinking, and my own effervescent personality for making this come to fruition.
I have to give my two weeks at work tomorrow. I’ve landed my dream job for $3.50 more than what I’m getting paid now. More details as I’m able to release them; but suffice it to say I am ecstatic!
Mellon took me out for a celebratory dinner this evening. We went to a steak house I’ve only been to once before, Texas Roadhouse. It was pretty good. The company was my favorite part.
Doctor is worried about my blood sugars still since insurance won’t cover insulin for some damn reason. Stupid. But! There won’t be a gap in coverage thanks to getting a ninety day supply of meds from Dr. McC so at least I don’t have to worry about that.
We’re going to the movies this weekend! To see the new movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves! I haven’t been to a movie since… Umm. Im not even sure. August? Maybe? I know I was masked up.
Anyway, I have to back date this a few minutes because it’s past midnight since Mellon and I spent a bit of time snuggling and I was doing some reading.
