I met a new friend today! Their name is Jazmine and they’re a local, queer writer. We met off BumbleBFF. I kind of refuse to just languish in an island of social isolation here.
On the topic of meeting people, I met with my new therapist Lee this morning. While I’m not entirely sure they’re a good fit, time will well.
Also thanks to BumbleBFF, I am talking about meeting up with another queer person next weekend. Their name is Tegan and they’re a teacher living about an hour away from where I live with Lucian and Brian.
I just want friends I can hug on a regular basis. And maybe, eventually have a movie night with! Once we have furniture and all that jazz. Not right now, though. We’re still hip-deep in boxtopia, trying to find ways to purchase storage and furniture on a shoestring budget.
Anyway! My hips hurt from all the walking today. I’m going to head to bed.
