Well. Today was an absolute shitshow. Just… didn’t sleep well, forgot to post last night’s blog entry before passing out reading, really rough day at work…

Tomorrow is Thursday. I am so glad it’s almost the weekend. I need to reset, reevaluate, and realign my goals with long-term success. I’m trying to turn the metaphorical puzzle piece to see how to best fit it and I am just… struggling.

This week’s discussion board post for class was all about the idea of mandatory vaccination. I put it as gently as I could that it was my opinion, backed by facts and history, that mandatory vaccinations are a good idea. I also threw Ben Franklin into the mix. As well as offer proof of the whole “vaccines cause autism” study that was utterly terrible science by an angry white man who has since lost his medical license. I tried very hard to not get heated because I know that ignorance claims that the opposing view’s anger is just losing the battle for them. I’m not sure I’m conveying clearly what I mean, but I assume you get what I’m aiming for.

Tonight’s picture is that of my little gift to myself: an owl-shaped puzzle box I got from my he thrift store! It was only $2.99 + tax! That’s pretty darn good as most of the ones I’ve found are more like $30 than under five bucks.

Anyway, it’s time for me to medicate, meditate, and read the first chapter of Shea Ernshaw’s Long Live the Pumpkin Queen!

Take your meds, folks!
