I need to get up early-ish. Uncle Comic is doing a drive-by on his way to a convention to drop off some food for the household.
In return, I am going to make him some fresh, homemade, crispy oatmeal cookies. I may also whip up a batch of peanut butter, chocolate chip cookies, while I am in the kitchen. I also still need to make Lucian’s birthday cake for him.
I went to the library today to try and get out of the house on no one‘s dime. Like, there are so few third spaces where you can go and spend time without having to invest a whole bunch of money. I still haven’t started reading “Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil”, but I hope to be able to in the next day or two.
I did manage to get the air mattress that Llama was sleeping on while she was here put away. I am, I guess in hindsight, very thankful I did not go for a queen mattress for myself. It would dominate far too much of the bedroom and I need more storage solutions as it is. I have to get up early again tomorrow. Thankfully, not as early as this morning. I absolutely loved having her here to visit; I absolutely need a space that I can go and not exist around people. Thankfully, Llama and I don’t consider one other people we are just dear ones.
I woke up this morning at around 5 AM. This was so I could run Llama to the airport so she could get back to Florida. She absolutely did get home safely for anyone wondering. There’s likely to be photos on various social media accounts of all of the many photos we took together over the last week.
I’m going to head to bed.
