Of Cuddly Cats and Crocheting

13,211 Days Alive

I’ve been working on laundry and the Buffalo Plaid Blanket for Papa Tom since I woke up from my accidental nap this afternoon.

I think that I’m about a third of the way done. I can’t recall how many repeats of the color blocks I’ve done but I know I’m halfway through the latest color repeat of eight rows. You can find the pattern I’m using here.

When I got home form J and Bill6’s house, I was for some reason exhausted. I curled up on the couch just to wait for Fen to make a coffee run. And I ended up sleeping for two hours. I don’t know what it is about Sundays and needing a damn nap, but it is what it is.

Spock has been super cuddly since I got home. I think he missed me.

I’m still having nightmares about becoming homeless. But Reffie, bless her, made up a mantra for me… to the tune of Old MacDonald Had a Farm. So. That’s in my head forever now. Heh.

I wasn’t able to post chapter three of Crows at the Crossroads as of yet. So I’ll do it next Sunday; provided I have it back from my brother and other beta readers/editors.

I’ve almost defeated Mount Dirty Clothes. Now I just need to find the spoons to put it all away. Maybe tomorrow after work.

For now, though, I’m going to head to bed because I want to get up and into work early tomorrow.

Take your meds, folks.
