2 Hours Spent Making Curry
1 Job Interview and Offer
Today has been a very, very long day.
But a good one.
I got up early for a job interview at a local supermarket here in Indiana just down the road from Mellon’s place.
Apparently I impressed them, because I got a same-day job offer from them. It’s not as much money as I’d like, but it’s what I’m making now in Chicago, but with a greatly reduced cost of living.
I’m going to accept the job tomorrow. I have an interview at a bank, but with my… alternative appearance, I don’t think I’d get the job. I’ve shaved my head and have visible tattoos. I tried buying some foundation to cover it, but it’s bloody impossible to match my weird olive but pink undertones skin.
I’m just going to be grateful for what I have and work my butt off in the new role.
We made curry for dinner tonight. Japanese Golden Curry, to be specific. It’s much milder than the Indian curries I am used to. Highly recommend.
We did a grocery run, snacked on some apples and honey while the curry cooked, and just generally were goofballs.
Anyway, I wanna go cuddle Mellon.
I miss Spock.
Take your meds, folks.
